• Technical & Device Logs: Browser type, operating system, and local storage data required for PWA installation and offline functionality.

• Personalized Learning: To track your study progress, generate relevant quiz recommendations, and save your AI tutoring history across devices.
• Platform Quality & Error Correction: User reports and anonymized AI query logs are reviewed to correct factual errors, update quiz answer keys, and improve lesson accuracy.
• App Optimization: Technical logs help optimize offline caching and lightweight app performance on mobile devices.

• Non-Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, study logs, or email address to third parties or advertisers.
• AI Provider Transmission: Text prompts entered into the AI tutor are processed through secure Large Language Model (LLM) APIs strictly to generate academic explanations. Prompts are sanitized to exclude personal identifiers before processing.
• Academic Privacy: Your quiz performance and AI queries are confidential and are never shared with your educational institution without your explicit consent.

• Device Storage: College Tutor utilizes browser local storage (IndexedDB / Cache Storage) to enable offline access to downloaded lessons, quizzes, and saved explanations.
• User Data Erasure: You can clear cached study materials at any time through your browser settings or by selecting "Clear Offline Cache" within the College Tutor user settings menu.

You maintain full ownership of your study data. You have the right to:

• Access and export your saved study logs, quiz scores, and AI interaction history.
• Correct or update your profile details (course, year, subject tracks).
